About Us

We Are Here To Make a Difference.

BlackMenHack is a pioneering initiative brought to you BGH Foundation that seeks to uplift and empower Black Men in the cybersecurity field, a space where diversity has historically been lacking. Recognizing the underrepresentation of Black professionals, especially men, in cybersecurity, BlackMenHack is designed to bridge that gap by providing dedicated training, mentorship, and resources. This initiative operates under the umbrella of the BlackGirlsHack Foundation, an established nonprofit with a mission to increase representation and drive equitable opportunities for people of color, especially Black communities, within tech and cybersecurity industries.

Through BlackMenHack, participants gain access to a range of educational tools, hands-on labs, and skill-building resources that prepare them for meaningful, impactful careers. By focusing on both technical and professional development, BlackMenHack equips individuals with the skills necessary to thrive in cybersecurity roles, from entry-level positions to advanced specializations. Participants are mentored by industry leaders who share insights into the nuances of the cybersecurity landscape, providing a solid support network that’s invaluable for those navigating an often exclusive industry. These mentors not only offer technical guidance but also help participants build confidence, a sense of belonging, and a resilient professional identity.

Beyond skill development, BlackMenHack cultivates a powerful community where members can connect, share experiences, and celebrate achievements. This collective, forged through shared learning and professional aspirations, creates a supportive ecosystem where participants can advocate for one another and find allies within the field. By fostering a collaborative and encouraging environment, BlackMenHack not only prepares its members for cybersecurity roles but also drives forward a movement of inclusivity, reshaping the future of tech and cybersecurity for Black men.
